Fashioned from designs that were inspired by decorative objects owned by Empress Eugenie, the wife of Napoleon III, our collection of three Empress Parrots, which includes the Empress Parrot on Branch Right Face, have the same charm as her 19th-century porcelain sculptures. Each of the three white sculptures are nods to the “Blanc de Chine” craze in Europe, which was wildly popular in France during her reign.
