The Tula Large Ivory Bowl is a multi-dimensional work of art. Hand-thrown from ceramic, the pattern on the surface of the decorative accessory is achieved when an artisan punches it with a tool to create one circle at a time. The raised shapes that are created and the striations on the inside resist the ivory reactive glaze to let the original color of the material show through.
